Just got back from my two weeks filming / carspotting trip to Cannes & Monaco. Saw so many amazing cars; four (4!!!) LaFerrari's, muscle cars, exotics, hypercars, supercars and much more!
One of the pretty special ones I saw was the brand new BMW i8 plug-in hybrid sports car / supercar, which BMW brought to show it off to some special customers at the Cannes Film Festival and in Monaco during the Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend.

Had a great time last weekend in Helsinki, and as you might have guessed it, trip there was pretty much all about cars. Not entirely, but for the most parts; cars, cars, cars.
First it was time for the annual American Car Show / Tuning Car Show. After that some carspotting in the centre Helsinki, and in the evening loud V8 engines and smoky burnouts at the Vantaa Cruising (aka Vanda Cruising).
But like before, rather than me blabbering about these things too much, it's better to show you some photos / videos, enjoy!

Thought I'd remind all you Muscle Car fans, it's time to check out the annual American Car Show (18-21st April) in Helsinki next Friday, and if you're anywhere near that place, you'll definitely wanna head to Vantaa in the Friday evening too, there's the Vanda Cruising with all the loud V8's and smoky burnouts happening also...
So after the Geneva trip it's time to start getting ready for probably the biggest Jamboolio's carspotting trip of this year, which is full TWO WEEKS in Cannes and Monaco in May.
I did this same thing last year, head to Cannes right for the start of Cannes Film Festival, which means that the town is full of the most amazing supercars and hypercars, day and night naturally!

Monaco is right next to Cannes, so it's easy to make multiple trips there, and as you'll probably know that place is always packed with stunning cars. Plus there'll be the F1 Grand Prix weekend, which draws a lot of more Supercars to town, and I'll be there to film all of them.

As for the Muscle Car fans, things are looking good also. You see the fantastic Helsinki Cruising Night events start again in April, and that means once a month the Market Square in Helsinki will be packed with all kinds of American V8 and V10 muscle cars, classics and brand new, all in one place.

There's also one very special event here in Finland at the end of June, that I'll be attending, and will get very exclusive footage from, and that is the Unlimited Racing event in Lappeenranta, Finland from June 27 to 29.
The organizer has granted me limitless access to this event for full three days, that means Supercars, Muscle Cars, on-board rides etc. etc. So a big thank you to Daniel from D1 Ultimate Racing! A lot of footage coming from there in the summer.
Before getting to all the Supercars and Hypercars of the Geneva Motor Show 2014, I wanna talk a little about BMW, since they had one of the largest and most striking stands at the show.
BMW 435i Gran Coupe
BMW officially unveiled a few 2015 models, like the 4-Series Gran Coupe (435i) and the M235i, also the new M3 F80 and M4 F82 models were seen out in public in Europe for the first time.
Naturally the plug-in hybrid models, the i8 and i3 were there, and I have to say that seeing the i8 for the first time live with my own eyes was a very positive thing, you can count me as a fan from now on, it looks absolutely fantastic!

Think I'll let the photos do the rest of the talking, but a few little things first;
a couple of days after visiting the Motor Show, out of the blue I spotted an 4-Series Gran Coupe (car they just had unveiled at the show!) at one of the hotels in centre Geneva. It was a 428i with the M Sport package and in Estoril Blue color.
Think it's BMW's own test- or press car, but quite a nice surprise to spot one of the first 4er Gran Coupes on the road! You can check a small video of that car here:

The BMW Store at the Motor Show was also a nice surprise (got something little for myself there, since I am a huge BMW fan, and also own and drive a E90 330i). Anyways, enjoy the pics and the video below...
